The Amflow PR Carbon Pro is the top-spec model in the PR Carbon range. It shares the same full-carbon frame, adjustable geometry system and Avinox smart platform as the standard PR Carbon, but steps up in three meaningful areas: a more powerful Avinox M2S motor, a premium FOX suspension package, and Magura brakes. The result is a bike built firmly for riders who regularly push into more demanding terrain and want their equipment to match.

The Avinox M2S drive unit is a notable upgrade over the M2. It delivers 150N·m of peak torque and up to 1500W of peak power in Trail, Turbo, Auto and Boost modes — considerably more output than the standard model, and the kind of figure that makes itself felt on sustained technical climbs. Despite the power increase, noise remains impressively low at 45dBA, thanks to compound planetary gears and a helical gear design. SmoothShift integrates the motor with the SRAM S1000 Eagle Transmission electronic drivetrain, allowing gear changes while coasting and keeping momentum when the trail demands it.

The 800Wh removable battery can be charged independently of the bike or swapped entirely. The Pro comes with Amflow's 508W fast charger (12A) as standard, which can charge the battery to 80% approximately three times faster than the 168W charger supplied with the standard model — a genuinely useful inclusion if you're riding back-to-back days or fitting rides around a busy schedule.

Suspension is a clear step up. Up front is a FOX 36 Performance fork (MY 2027) with a GRIP damper and 160mm of travel — a more capable unit than the AWL HD Sport on the standard model, particularly on bigger impacts and rougher, more varied terrain. The rear runs a FOX Float X Performance shock (MY 2027) with a 2-position lever, allowing you to switch between open and firm damping on the fly without stopping. Both are custom-tuned to the PR Carbon's kinematics. The mullet setup continues here — 29-inch front, 27.5-inch rear — with Schwalbe Magic Mary Radial 29×2.5 (Gravity Pro, Ultra Soft, tubeless ready) on the front and Schwalbe Albert Radial 27.5×2.5 (Gravity Pro, Addix Soft, tubeless ready) on the rear. Both are gravity-focused tyres designed for maximum traction in demanding conditions.

Braking comes from Magura Gustav Pro four-piston hydraulic disc brakes with 203mm rotors. The Gustav Pro is a well-regarded gravity brake with a firm, progressive lever feel and strong modulation — a meaningful upgrade over the standard model's Tektro spec. The rest of the build — SRAM S1000 Eagle drivetrain, Avinox 2-inch OLED Control Display, Apple Find My tracking, offline navigation, Amflow dropper post and the full geometry adjustment system — is consistent across the PR Carbon range.

At £5,399 the Pro sits £1,400 above its sibling. The difference is accounted for by the M2S motor, the FOX 36 and Float X Performance suspension package, the Magura brakes and the fast charger — all components that make a tangible difference when the riding gets serious.

The Amflow PR Carbon Pro is available in four frame sizes. The height ranges below are a useful starting point, but where sizes overlap, reach is the most important measurement for fit — a longer reach suits riders who prefer a more stretched, aggressive position, while a shorter reach works better for those who prefer to sit more upright.
