ProjektRide Edinburgh Bike Shop Delivery & Returns Policy

Postage and Delivery Costs

We use Hermes for posting parts, components and accessories which can be tracked. Parcel force 48 is used for posting larger items such as bikes, frames and wheelsets etc. We aim to keep our delivery system as simple as possible and offer free postage for any orders over £50 – we charge £3.99 for any orders under £50.

Delivery Times

For parts, components and accessories – We aim to post your order the same day, however please allow up to 5-7 days for your item to arrive. All bikes and products are sent from our bike shop in Edinburgh so if you are local, please pop in to collect.

Bike Delivery

We aim to stock as many bikes as possible however due to increased demand, bikes can go out of stock on the website. Bikes can be pre-ordered to secure a sale.  Please call or email to discuss lead times on selected items if the product is showing out of stock on the website.

Please allow 5-7 working days for your new bike to be assembled by one of our mechanics before being dispatched.

How will my new bike arrive?

Every bike that gets delivered from ProjektRide undergoes a full safety check and pre-dispatch quality inspection to ensure you have a great first ride. Your bike will arrive in a cardboard bike box – we do what we can for the environment so if we can reuse a bike box we will. In the box you will receive the bike 90% ready – all you will have to do is the following:

Re-fit the bars (4/5mm Allan key is used for this)

Re-fit the front wheel – simply refit the front wheel with the supplied axle

Adjust the seatpost to your height

Re-fit the pedals – Please remember the left-hand pedal screws on anticlockwise!

If you are not too confident with setting up the bike please ask your local bike shop to help out. Alternatively, you can give us a call on 01313745324 and we can talk you through the process.

Returns

Please note – Here at ProjektRide we want every customer to have a great experience, therefore if you have bought the wrong item, received a damaged product or simply have changed your mind, please get in touch with the team via email ([email protected]) and we can process a full refund within 28 days.

Please not* returns are not accepted on second-hand bikes.

Please ensure:

  • In the returns email include your full name, postal address and reason for the return.
  • Items returned must be in the original packaging with the tags attached.

To make the return as simple as possible, please follow the returns procedure on our return email.
