Bike Hire Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the bike hire service offered by ProjektRide ("we," "us," or "our"). By using our bike hire service, you agree to abide by these Terms. Please read them carefully before making a booking.

1. Booking and Collection:

1.1. Customers must make a reservation for bike hire and provide accurate information regarding their collection date. Failure to pick up the bike on the agreed-upon collection date will result in the customer being charged the full daily rental rate for that day.

2. Rental Period:

2.1. Customers must return the rented bike on the agreed drop-off date. Failure to do so will result in additional charges at the full daily rental rate for every day they fail to return the bike, until it is returned.

3. Identification Requirement:

3.1. Customers are required to present valid government-issued identification (ID) when collecting their rented bikes. Failure to provide proper ID will result in the bike not being hired out, and a refund will not be issued in this case.

4. Cancellations:

4.1. Cancellations are allowed, provided they are made at least 5 working days before the scheduled collection date. Cancellations made within 5 working days of the collection date will not be eligible for a refund.

5. Payment

5.1. Payment for the bike hire service must be made in full at the time of booking, unless otherwise agreed upon with us.

6. Condition of Bikes:

6.1. Customers are responsible for returning the rented bike in the same condition as it was provided, except for normal wear and tear. Any damage, loss, or theft of the bike or its accessories will be the customer's responsibility, and additional charges may apply.

7. Safety and Responsibility:

7.1. Customers are responsible for using the rented bike safely and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. We are not liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages that may occur during the rental period.

6. Maintenance and Repairs:

8.1. We will provide a bike in good working condition at the time of rental. Customers are responsible for notifying us of any issues or defects in the bike during the rental period. We will repair or replace the bike as necessary.

9. Availability:

9.1. Bike and equipment availability is subject to demand, and we cannot guarantee the availability of specific bike models or sizes. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate customer preferences.

10. Privacy Policy:

10.1. We will collect and process personal information as necessary for the bike hire service. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details on how we handle your data.

11. Termination of Rental:

11.1. We reserve the right to terminate a rental agreement and retrieve our bike at any time if a customer fails to comply with these Terms or engages in unsafe or unlawful activities while using our bikes.

12. Modification of Terms:

12.1. We may update or modify these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or notifying customers.
