District+ 3 R9 Lowstep is a versatile city e-bike that’s equally ready for weekday commutes and weekend rides. A 9-speed Shimano CUES drivetrain gives you plenty of range for climbing hills and cruising flat terrain, while the Bosch Active Line Plus Smart System motor and 540Wh removable integrated battery provide smooth, reliable power wherever you roll.
Technology
A better way to produce aluminium - Starting in 2024, we began removing high-emission aluminium from our manufacturing and replacing it with low-emission aluminium made with renewable energy. By October 2025, nearly every alloy bike we make – this one included – had made the switch, driving a major drop in our footprint.
