The M5 Pro is the XC race model of the M Series, being fast and light, but also incredibly strong and supportive. ‘Pro’ signifies that this wheelset has been tested and raced by professional athletes across the globe, to develop a product proven in competition. The pros called for a racing wheelset that was less rigid than typical carbon models, to not only deliver speed but also enhanced ride quality and less rider fatigue. The front and rear rims are individually designed, with the front being wider and more compliant, so that it moulds to the ground and absorbs impact before it reaches the rider. The rear rim, meanwhile, is slightly narrower for effective power transfer and toughness. Both are incredibly durable and will give you the confidence to ride and race aggressively on rough, technical XC trails.

They're also both shallow, meaning increased vertical compliance for better shock absorption and a better balance of compliance, weight saving and reliability. Both front and rear rims use ENVE's wide hookless bead technology to protect against pinch flats.
